“Just aim and fire.” [gets shot] This has some strong “I can see you attack your enemy and strike true” vibes. 😂
... and the award for worst acting goes to.......... all of them.
The lighting is terrible in season 1 just a massive light on picard and riker in the transporter room and the corridor. I think they saked on of the lighting guys because he liked to shine every thing with bright multi coloured lights.
Why not have Odo shapeshift into the Vorta female's form? It worked when he impersonated The Founder.
Portland should be shown as it really is ON FIRE!!!!
I need shore leave 😮
Nice Vorta ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍 Anyone know the Actress name ???
DS 9 my personal favorite in Star Trek
I just realized that was Neroon from Babylon 5, yes? It's interesting that the Cardassians suffered much the same fate as the Centauri. Danced with the Devil, only to get burned.
Love this show
You have to give it to the Cardiassians. That show was really good. Unfortunately, Wokeness took over and destroyed everything what made Star Trek good.
I love the Galaxy class but just think these ships were carrying 5 year old kids as well as non urgent adult personal
When I first watched this and saw the Female Founder come in, I was like "oh sh*t!" I didn't realize it was Odo at first.
I like how there are stars in the background at 2:00 and 2:31 when there are clearly none. If anything, the inner portion of the Dyson's sphere should reflect some if not much of the sunlight back like what the moon and all the planets do (depending on how absorbent the materials used for the inside of the Dyson's sphere). What is not discussed is the possible thermal trapping effect as well gravitational effects on the star to the shell and vice versa as both have quite a bit of mass creating an outer and inner warping of the fabric of space-time that might exacerbate the size and height of these corona ejections. And nothing was discussed how the shell can keep all surfaces equidistant to the star, otherwise an off-course of just a few 10,000 to 1,000,000 km can have devastating effects to any living being or vegetation on those surfaces.
The cgi is better then today??
Why have Kira answer the phone when you have a LITERAL shapeshifter with you?
Odo was dying and changing shape exacerbated his condition. Kira probably instinctively rejected the idea of having him answer.
This show still holds up, and better than the most recent show Discovery.
Pfft...what I just flushed down the toilet holds up better than Discovery.
Their universal translators are on their heads?
Star Trek maybe maybe not.
The look on her face when Kira beats the tar out of him LOL
The smile on Garak's face was legend.
0:50 I love that TV show
Yes, great scene. But why on earth would you stretch a 4:3 video to 16:9? It hurts my eyes!
Had the Federation mined the wormhole and established a solid military alliance with the Klingons and the Romulans the day the Dominion took over the Cardassian Union, they could have won the war faster and with much fewer casualties. Instead, they allowed the Dominion to estalish a foothold and become the dominant super-power in the Alpha Quadrant before they took action. It's like the Trek writers all read Sun Tzu's 'Art of War' and thought 'What is the exact opposite of what he would advise?'
Well that's a pretty daft argument don't you think? Not to mention that the writers WROTE the story that way with the express idea of the war being a plot arc lol
There are a million ways the Trek writers could have developed the Dominion War story arc and have it continue without having the Federation, Klingons, and Romulans blunder their way through the war. An obvious possibility would be a Dominion campaign in the Gamma Quadrant that brings them close to the Wormhole and prompts the Federation to form an alliance with the Klingons, Romulans, and Cardassians to stop the Dominion before they invaded the Alpha Quadrant. A military expedition into the Gamma Quadrant could have been exciting and could have lasted multiple seasons. But developing a story arc based on incompetence is a lazy way to write. Furthermore, it made no sense. The Klingons and Romulans have large interstellar empires, you'd think they would know better than to fight a war of attrition against an enemy that uses clone soldiers. The Federation had a lot of enemies, you'd think they could prepare for war. As for almost losing a war against the Dominion, Jem'Hadarr can only subsist on one form of nourishment, an easy enough supply chain to break, and only two officers on Jem'Hadarr warships could see what was happening outside, lots of blind spots to exploit. A first year military academy cadet could come up with a thousand ways to defeat the Dominion and still have time to get to his next class.
Damar had one of the best character arcs in all of DS9. It was second only to perhaps Worf.
I don't know Star Trek. I was hoping they would transmit Fateful Findings over to the alien ships and make everyone too confused to fight back.
She was better off asking for commutation.
This is FUCKIN STAR TREK. None of the new bullshit!!!
What new BS are u talking about?
Discovery, I guess
DS9 is so fucking good man
DS9 is just so fucking good man
Better than Star Trek: The Next Generation
Not better. But surely good
I watched DS9 several times, but I don’t remember this one for some reason
So, how is some neurazine going to affect the Breen? Last time I checked they were wearing spacesuits all the time.
If people learned as much about the real world as they learn about this junk, we'd be living like Star Trek.
It is visionaries like this that get us there.
This crafting of these scenes made this series what it is: one of the best
thats my favorite Garek scene of all time.
I don't understand why they called it the defiant.. granted the name fits better.
"Another great day of saving the Breeeeeen"
I felt so hurt when she died. She was a very impressive officer (and cute as a button lol).
A reminder why Klingons and Romulans don't like each. Damn, even in conference talks they hit each hard. This is why Star Trek is so great in its writers and drama!
When I saw that founder leader step onto the bridge, i thought for sure she regconize Kira. I was shock to see it was Odo...that was too close and exciting
To many cadet know the Ryker Maneuver!😂😅
Why did they destroy the Vulcan ship with such extreme prejudice?
People keep invading his place.
Wasn't Constitution class meant to be like a Navy Destroyer?
wait wait wait wait... Pause at 0:42.. Is he the same actor that did the future borg drone??.. I am correct it is Paul Boehmer..
" No other vessels of any kind " What about unkind vessels ?
3:20 *casually holds communicator backwards*
I hope whoever worked in wardrobe, and didn't fix Spock and Bones uniforms coming apart, got fired after noticing that.
Whats was up with Obriens face
is that a small cardassian shuttle? can't be an hideki class, should be bigger than a dominion bug/attack ship
